Self-judgment is a way of criticizing oneself, an uncompassionate response to failure and moments of pain.
Personally, I believe self-judgment stems from the fact that we value ourselves and rate who we are based on our daily performance. When we encounter failure, we don’t accept it, and as a result, we punish ourselves.
